See sixty up-and-coming artists at the first Los Angeles biennial, now through Sept. 2, 2012, at the Hammer Museum, LAXART, and Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery<\/p><\/div> Summer is ending soon. So is the first ever Los Angeles biennial, Made in L.A. 2012. <\/p>\n

You have just two weeks left to see Made in L.A. 2012, and I hope you will. I love recommending exhibitions that can give busy people like you a unique and enlightening art experience in a single encounter. Made in L.A. 2012 is one of those events. <\/p>\n

Featuring sixty artists, it offers a snapshot of the current art trends and practices flowing out of Los Angeles<\/a>, one of the most active and energetic art communities worldwide! The emphasis is on up-and-coming and under-recognized artists, and will debut new installations, videos, sculptures, performances, and paintings produced especially for the biennial.
\n<\/p>\n

Made in L.A. 2012 is presented at three different venues, now through September 2, 2012<\/strong>. Organized by the Hammer Museum in collaboration with LAXART, it is held at the Hammer Museum, LAXART, and the Los Angeles Municipal Art Gallery at Barnsdall Park.<\/p>\n
